Terms of Service

These draft terms describe the expected rules for using MOTI. They are practical product copy and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

Using MOTI

MOTI is a marketplace that helps car owners request parts and services from vendors. Customers are responsible for submitting accurate vehicle and request information. Vendors are responsible for accurate prices, stock availability, service terms, and fulfilment updates.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. A single person or business may use MOTI as a customer, vendor, or both, depending on verification and platform requirements.

Requests, offers, and orders

A request does not guarantee that a vendor will respond. An offer becomes binding only when accepted under the app flow. Once accepted, the offer may become an order with payment, fulfilment, feedback, and support handled through the platform.

Payments and fees

MOTI may support mobile money, card payments, vendor subscriptions, platform fees, payouts, and refunds. Exact fees, settlement timelines, and refund rules may depend on the product, vendor, payment provider, and market launch terms shown in the app.

Vendor responsibilities

Vendors must provide lawful goods and services, honor accepted offers, maintain accurate business details, comply with verification requirements, avoid direct contact sharing where prohibited, and use MOTI's payment and order tools as required by platform policy.

Account deletion and suspension

Users may request account deletion from the app or by contacting support. MOTI may suspend accounts that appear fraudulent, unsafe, abusive, or non-compliant with marketplace rules. Deleted accounts cannot be restored once anonymization is complete.
