Privacy Policy

MOTI may collect account details such as name, email address, phone number, profile information, and authentication identifiers. We may also collect vehicle details, chat messages, photos, voice notes, request information, vendor offers, order records, ratings, support messages, and device or usage data needed to run the service.

We use information to create and secure accounts, structure requests, match customers with vendors, process offers and orders, support payments, send notifications, improve marketplace quality, prevent abuse, and provide customer or vendor support.

MOTI may use AI to clarify customer intent, summarize request details, understand uploaded images, suggest structured RFQs, and improve search or offer ranking. Core marketplace actions should remain available even when AI assistance is unavailable.

We share only the information needed to operate the marketplace, such as request details with relevant vendors, order details with the selected vendor, payment data with payment processors, and information required by service providers who support hosting, messaging, analytics, fraud prevention, or customer support.

Payment processing may involve third-party payment providers, including mobile money or card processors. MOTI keeps transaction and payout records needed for order fulfilment, reconciliation, support, and legal obligations.

Users can request account deletion in the app. The current backend deletes the Firebase login profile where possible, marks the user as deleted, and anonymizes personal fields such as email, phone number, authentication UID, and profile images. Some transaction or operational records may remain in anonymized form where needed for marketplace integrity, safety, tax, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
